Matt at Preview Days at Southern Seminary

I just thought I would add this picture of Matt in front of one of the Seminary lecture halls.  Just a few more weeks and we'll be moving to Kentucky.  We are filled with excitement, and at the same time sadness because we will be leaving all of our friends and family behind, but we know that we serve a big God who will provide and take care of us.

California Baptist University Graduates

We made it, we are actually officially graduates of California Baptist University.  We dreamed of this day so many nights as we drove home from college at 11:00 at night.  God is so good to allow us both to graduate together as husband and wife.  We officially graduated on Saturday, May 5th, 2012.  Matt received his bachelor's degree in  Christian Studies, and I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Studies.  We were so blessed to have many friend and family attend our graduation and our party afterwards.  God has truly blessed us with amazing supportive friends and family.  Now, it's on to Seminary in Kentucky in just a few weeks.  Praise God for His strength to finish out our degrees at California Baptist University.

Matt's Accepted at Southern Theological Seminary

On April 18th - 22nd, 2012,  we went to Southern Baptist Theological Seminary's Preview Days in Louisville, Kentucky. We had and amazing time as we were introduced to the Seminary and the city of Louisville.  The highlight of the trip was that Matt was publicly accepted to the Seminary while we were there.  This is a picture of Matt holding his acceptance letter on the lawn outside of the Seminary.  We praise God that He has opened this door for Matt to attend Seminary.  We had such and amazing trip, and we are looking forward to our move out there on June 11th, 2012.
